Most people don’t realize the power of having their product on the #1 home shopping channel in the world. For starters, QVC (USA) reaches an estimated 87 million homes in the United States. It only takes a fraction of those eager buyers to create a successful day and a successful career for you.
In my own experience it would take four major tradeshows consisting of 2-3 full days each of selling, to do what we have done in one ten minute appearance on QVC.
When I say tradeshow, I mean an industry event filled with buyers and vendors. The kind where you have to ship your tradeshow booth and your sample products to a convention hall, slough your way through the airport with suitcases over-packed with sales material, fly to some forsaken city, find your hotel, set up your booth display, sell for three days, then at the end of the show, breakdown, pack up, fight the hassle of the airport again, only to return home exhausted – FOUR times of doing this compared to one ten minute spot on QVC to create similar profits.
The sad part is, most people don’t know the first thing about where to start, what to do, or who to call to get their products on the fast track to marketing success.
